Hi everyone! Looking for his furever home is AJay!  This little guy is a definite lovebug, and has the energy of a live wire!

He loves to cuddle,  and I hope you like puppy kisses!  He will talk back to you, and let you know what he thinks!  His favorite place to sleep is the puppy toybox, along with his favorite toys!

He gets along with all other pups, and he can hold his own when it comes time to play hard!  Don’t let his size fool you, he’s a BIG pup in a little body!  It seems he’s a Pittie mix, but a little version!

He loves his food, and he makes sure he gets his fair share!    He loves playing outside, but also loves to be indoors with you!

Right now, he’s in the process of learning to be crate and potty-trained.   He’s had 2 sets of his shots, been wormed, and the neutering and final set of shots will still need to be done.  He would be great in a home with kids, and/or other pups.  We don’t know how he is with cats, but knowing his attitude, he would probably get along with them after getting to know them.

So if you’d like to bring this little guy home, and make him your furever friend, go get that application in at!

About Cody's Friends Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
Thank you for visiting and considering a rescue........................

Our Adoption Process...

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. Upon request, they are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $200 to $250 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $300 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.
** Please note that I do not usually adopt out my dogs with children under four years of age.
