Ozzie was adopted from a metro animal shelter 14 years ago. Fast forward 14 years. His human went into the hospital and never made it out so back to the same shelter he started in. Rescue was his only hope and we could not leave him behind. Ozzie loves to be around people and other animals. He is still very active and loves to explore. He is house trained, neutered, vaccinated, flea prevention applied. He also received a much needed dental cleaning in August. Do you have the heart and a small spot in your home to give him a soft bed and the attention he so deserves? Adoption fee of $50. Located in Hinton. About Homeward Bound Dog Rescue Western Oklahoma

About Our Rescue Group...

We began our rescue in October 2014 after noticing our small town needed help finding homes and helping care for their animals in the municipal pound.

Our rescue consists of women that work full time jobs and have families. We use ever spare moment of our time to care for, exercise, help transport, and network animals in need.

We are in dire need of foster parents and donations for veterinary care. Animals get sick, paws get hurt, tummies get upset. It all is very expensive and our rescue is so new we could use any help big or small!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are primarily held in the Hinton Municipal pound in Oklahoma. We have many in foster homes in the Hinton area. We are now holding adoption events at the Yukon Petsmart.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process includes completing an adoption application, signing an adoption contract and a $85 fee when the adoption occurs. This fee covers the animal's spay/neuter, rabies, DHPP and Bordetella, worming, and a months supply of parasite/flea control.
