Zeke's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Zeke's Story...
Fine, I’ll admit it. My name is Zeke and I have little-man syndrome. It just takes me a minute, or a day, to get to trusting new people. Once I get to know you I’m real sweet, but before I know someone I act like a real tough guy. (Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but I’m not a tough guy, I’m actually pretty insecure and scared.) I really do want to get to know new people and new things and learn to trust. I just need you to help me feel safe and secure, and help me learn a little impulse control. I love other dogs, and I love to roughhouse with kitty cats too. How about you give me a chance? I just need a family with plenty of patience, lots of love, and no children. A home where someone understands my quirks and is happy to work with them; a place where someone will teach me that it is OK to be loved… could that be you? 18 months old-11lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeke, a Portland Norwich Terrier/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwich Terrier/Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Norwich Terrier/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwich Terrier/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Norwich Terrier/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
