Pearl, here, and I am a Lucky One. I am not just any Pearl. I’m a Black Pearl. Did you know a black pearl is considered to be a symbol of hope and eternal love? My foster Mom thinks it’s a good name for me and these days I really agree. I had a really rough start in life, but I’m, oh, so much healthier and hopeful now! I am so lucky to have been rescued. I have put my short, but very eventful, feral life behind me.

As you can see, I’m a beautiful deep black with small white splashes on my chest. I even have some marbling on my sides. If I stand in the light just right, you can see them. And my eyes, well they take up my whole face! Maybe it looks like that because of the lighter edges of my eyes. I just know I am quite pretty. My foster Mom thinks I might have some Oriental in me as I am lean and athletic, and my face is kind of angular, too.

I love to play alone, with my siblings, or with my foster Mom. I love to jump and chase da Mouse (as my video shows), and I adore chasing little ping pong balls around. Actually, as I think about it, I will play with just about anything now. When I first came here, I did not know what playing was. Well, I sure do now! And it’s awesome!

After a good play session, I will look for a nice warm lap to curl up in 'cause I need my loving and cuddling with humans. I also like to nuzzle your face and nose…and purr? Yes, I do purr! Of course, I have to trust you first, but if you play with me and show me you will love me, it won’t take long!

After a long day, I climb into my foster parent’s bed and curl up with my foster Mom. My other siblings are all there, but I have the prime spot cuddled against Mom’s neck. It’s been great here and now I know I can trust people and that they will take care of me and love me. What do you think? Could I be the right girl for you?

Pearl is a very loving and playful little girl despite everything she has gone through. She will be loyal and love you forever. One of the four Lucky One, Pearl would love to go home with one of her siblings Pooh Bear, Rocky, or Sunshine.

She will come to you vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and spayed.
Pearl is fostered in Reno, NV.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
