Blossom is looking for her furever home!   She’s a Min Pin/Pug mix and loves to shower you with kisses, especially in the morning.  She is 2 yr and  9 lbs

She loves companionship and wants to be involved in everything! She loves to play and can’t have too many toys! She’s a friendly girl but can be a tad shy at first!

She’s very curious and excited when she see other dogs but gets scared when they approach.  With more opportunity to socialize she’ll start making puppy friends fast and would probably be happy with a pup companion eventually.  She’s living in a home with cats now.  She’s not aggressive towards them but does instinctively want to chase them so a feline free home to start with might be best unless you were willing to continue to work with her.

Blossom is good with kids and is energetic.  She’s need a good amount of stimulation and exercise.  She’s somewhat sensitive to the heat so needs to be kept cool.  She’s adjusting to riding in the car and is well behaved on outgoings to the pet store.

She’s adjusted to the crate and does well in it though she much prefers to sleep with you at night.  She’ll make your life “blossom” with love and happiness, so bring this pile of cuteness home today!

About Cody's Friends Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
Thank you for visiting and considering a rescue........................

Our Adoption Process...

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. Upon request, they are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $200 to $250 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $300 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.
** Please note that I do not usually adopt out my dogs with children under four years of age.
