Facts about Rikki

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: APC-A-58
  • Hair: Unknown
We knew the minute we met her that Rikki was a special girl. Although our introduction took place at a noisy animal shelter, Rikki made sure that we noticed her by reaching her paw through the cage bars and trying to touch our arms. We were charmed! Rikki is social and outgoing; she loves to spend time with her favorite people and quickly forms routines that allow her to stay close. In her foster home, Rikki snoozes in the family office, cuddles on laps during evening television, monitors her foster mom each morning to make sure she's putting her make up on correctly, and sleeps by her side. Rikki is round and chubby, making her perfect to pick up and hug. She's mostly grey with distinguished tabby stripes accented with a white muzzle, neck, tummy and feet. She's got beautiful eyes that turn an arresting green when she's really focused on something. She's always happy to enjoy a play session with a cat wand. Rikki is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies vaccine), treated to prevent fleas, and fully litter box trained. She's done wonderfully in a multi-cat foster home and even gets along with a small dog who is a frequent visitor, but we have a sneaking suspicion that she would love to be an only cat. She's got so much love to give and enjoys attention so much that we think she would thrive with a family who only had her to dote on. If you'd like to know more about Rikki or set up a time to meet her, please contact Terri at or 925-487-7279.

About Allie's Pals Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Allie’s Pals Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to the well-being and rescuing of cats and kittens throughout the TriValley. We are dedicated individuals who find joy in creating healthy environments and, ultimately, forever homes for cats and kittens that otherwise may not have the opportunity to enhance the lives of people. We encourage the positive collaboration of area feline rescues in order to maximize efforts for all who share in the goal of treating, rehabilitating, and rescuing cats and kittens from public shelters. Our combined years of experience are proof of our commitment to nurturing furry felines and offering temporary foster homes while screening potential adoptive families.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our adult cats are shown at the Dublin Petsmart, located at 6960 Amador Plaza Road, Dublin (Alameda County), CA, and may be viewed during the store's normal business hours.

Adoptions interviews are by appointment; potential adopters may contact the person listed on either listings or at the Dublin Petsmart.

Kittens, when available for adoption, are shown at the Dublin Petsmart on Saturdays (11:30 am - 3:00 pm), and Sundays (noon - 3:00 pm).

Our Adoption Process...

Before the posting of our cats or kittens for adoption, they have been spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped for identification (Allie's Pals Cat Rescue takes responsibility for registering your new pet's microchip for you!), and are current on their age-appropriate vaccinations, wormings, and flea prevention treatments.

All potential adopters are subject to the approval of an Adoption Counselor with Allie's Pals; our sole goal is to help make sure our cats and kittens are placed in PERMANENT, safe, compatible and loving homes.

All adopters will be required to sign an Adoption Contract, and will be provided with complete health and behavioral information about their new pet. Adoption fees apply: Cats over the age of six months ($50.00), single kittens up to the age of six months ($75.00), two kittens up to the age of six months and adopted at the same time ($125.00).
