COURTESY POSTING - Cassie is a sweet but shy girl looking for her forever home! She showed up in the yard of a good samaritan pregnant. This kind hearted family took her in, found rescue for her babies, but now Cassie is still looking for a home. She will need a patient, quiet home to let her come out of her shell, but she is sweet and likes affection once she knows she can trust you. She has been spayed and is FeLV and FIV negative. Please contact Nancy at 614-837-5447 if you are interested in giving Cassie the forever home she deserves!

About PetPromise, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

PetPromise is an Ohio 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to creating a world where there are no more homeless pets through education, rescue, sterilization, and adoption.

PetPromise rescues animals from high-kill animal shelters and provides foster care, medical care, and rehabilitation to once homeless, neglected, or abused dogs and cats as well as adoption services so that these pets may find loving permanent homes.

Through our City Kitty Program, PetPromise works with feral cat caregivers to control feral cat populations in central Ohio through trap/neuter/return. , PetPromise provides rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and offers the use of humane traps when needed.

The PetPromise Pet Food Pantry provides temporary assistance in the form of cat and dog food free of charge to caretakers of feral cat colonies and pet owners who are experiencing economic hardship.

The founders of PetPromise began rescuing and finding homes for stray cats and dogs in 1996. The founders along with a network of other people interested in the welfare of homeless companion animals formed PetPromise in 1999. PetPromise was officially incorporated on February 4, 2000.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting a particular pet, please complete an online adoption application at We conduct reference checks and require a home visit before any adoption. The adoption fee varies by pet.
