About Smoke.
Smoke will turn 3 on September 22, 2016
She has had all of her vaccinations, including her 3 year rabies,
and has also been spayed.
Smoke was dropped off in my area last September without a collar. She had recently had a litter of puppies. It took a while to gain her confidence, but in time we found that she had been fairly well trained. Smoke is fullly house broken, and is great on a leash. If you stop, she sits! She weighs 63 pounds, but is not a big eater, but does love snausages!

Smoke has a very sweet disposition, and a very gentle when taking a treat. She got along with our grand dog, a female Rottie. Our two year old grand daughter threw her arms around Smoke's neck and planted a large kiss on her muzzle, so I think she is OK with children as well. I don't know about cats. She is a nice dog, and deserves a good home.
She is an active, healthy dog, and so a fenced yard is necessary .

About Adopt a Homeless Animal

About Our Rescue Group...

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. Thus, our dogs are in foster homes, so if you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

Our Adoption Process...

An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. Also, there is a $175 adoptiong fee/ donation to help offset some of the expenses relating to vaccinations, spay / neuter, feeding, boarding and miscellanious veterinary costs.
Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!
