Pickles's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Pickles's Story...
Pickles is a 6 year-old dilute calico beauty surrendered to us by her owner, who originally adopted her from us as a kitten. Due to change in family circumstances the family asked us to find her a new forever home.

Pickles is a love, but most it has to be on her terms. She loves human attention, loves to be pet and rub all over you, but she is not fond of being picked up. Pickles is quite the explorer--she wants to check out everything! She's also smart. VERY smart. She will need an adopter who has time to provide her with time and stimulation to keep her happy.

She is not crazy about dogs or other cats, so Pickles is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, soaking up all of your love. Pickles may get along with other cats if your cats are very confident and secure.

Pickles is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is declawed on all 4 paws. her adoption fee is $0. Her adoption fee has been paid by a donor.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Manitowoc Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manitowoc, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Manitowoc.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manitowoc already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manitowoc breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manitowoc paves the way for another one to be saved.
