Hello there,
may I introduce myself?
MOMO is my name, and I am the most soulful, gentle, sweet kitten you will ever meet.
I was born in May and am very affectionate and cuddly.
Truth be told I had a very rough start in life on the mean streets of Portland, but I am totally trusting of people.
Initially I was unable to use my hind legs, and everyone was very worried about me.
The rescue signed me up for physical therapy which included chiropractic adjustments, acupupressure and cold laser treatments. My foster mom worked with me on my core strength every day and within a short amount of time I began to recover. I think it is because she also uses a therapy called: PLAY. I must admit that this is my favorite program.
Initially folks considered me a special needs kitten. I think I am just special, actually. Yep, I am proud to say that I surprised everybody because
I made a complete and full recovery!!
My ideal home would be filled with love and calm energy. I would also love to have someone check in on me and not be alone all day, even though I am mellow and not demanding.
Let me tell you that my foster mom thinks that I am the greatest. She calls me all these funny names such as sweetie girl, little lotus flower, precious one, and on and on it goes. Believe me, I am soaking it all up. It feels so good to be loved and taken care of. From the bottom of my heart I wish to settle down in my permanent home soon. I cannot wait to gaze at you, play with you and fill your heart with love.
Yours truly, MOMO"
The Rescue requires a special adoption agreement with MOMO'S prospective adopter. MOMO is currently on a yearlong wellness plan which is included in her adoption. Momo also eats high-quality grain free food which she needs to continue. We are happy to fill you in on the details.
MOMO'S adoption contract requires that MOMO continues to see her current veterinarian to ensure treatment consistency in addition to other practitioners as needed while she is on the year long wellness plan. We also ask for bi-weekly updates (phone, email) about MOMO including photos or videos during the first year of her adoption and three home visits. We want to ensure that MOMO continues to thrive and are available as a resource for the adopter for her life time.

About The Delicious MickeyGrrrl Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small no- kill rescue with a focus on wonderfully unique cats and the occasional dog. It is our goal to provide a delicious life for orphan and feral cats and kittens. To assist pet guardians in providing that as well. We do this through creative education, support and mentoring.

All our adoptable pets are in foster homes. Please contact us for an adoption application and to arrange for a time to meet the animal you are interested in.

The Delicious MickeyGrrrl Fund was started in honor of MickeyGrrrl who lived 18 years after being rescued and rescuing her guardian. We accept donations to help feed and provide medical care for our wonderful cats while they are in foster care. We accept offers of foster homes to provide care and housing while we find forever homes for the cats.

Our Adoption Process...

We require a completed application form and a reference from your current vet. Home visitations by one of our volunteers. Our adoption fees are by donation.

The Delicious Mickey Grrrl Fund strives to find the best possible homes for homeless pets. We are not first come, first serve. All of our adoptable pets are in foster homes. Please contact us for an adoption application and to arrange for a time to meet the animal you are interested in.
