Harambe is the most excellent boy! We had him to Companion Animal Hospital - Madison,WI where he saw Dr Bortonowski the cardiologist. He was diagnosed with a septal heart defect and ok'd for neuter surgery. Dr Kay did his neuter and at the same time found a mass in his mouth which was removed. So what do we know?? The septal heart defect does not require medication. If it was going to kill him it should have done it by six months and he is about four years old. Hoping he lives a long happy life! The mass was removed from his mouth. We are hoping it was just from inflammation and he will be fine. If it grows back we'll have to look at cancer.
We still want to find him a home! He is laid back and mellow. He loves people, cats, and dogs!!!!

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.
