My foster mom says I look like a large fox, and what girl wouldn’t want to be called a “fox!” But I think I look more like a Red Heeler or a Dingo (just a little bit). My foster mom probably says that because of my red-coloring, but I like to think it’s because I am a “fox!”
My name is Chevonne (Shea-von), and I am about 2-years old and weigh about 35 pounds. If you know about Heelers, you know we are herding dogs, and we are pretty high energy and very, very smart. Just ask my foster mom; she says I am easily learning commands. And I am this close (that means really close) to being completely house trained, I am already crate trained, and I walk really well on my leash. In addition, I really love everyone I meet, big and small, young and old—and while I can be a little shy, all it takes is just a little loving or a belly rub, and I am yours forever. I also get along with other dogs, and I don’t mind cats. And there are a few more things I really like: chewing ice, burying rawhide bones in the back yard, sitting with my front legs crossed and chasing squirrels (don't worry--I never catch them).
How can a girl be anymore perfect? Well, I know it would be perfect for me if I could have my very own family and home. So what do you say? Will you come and meet me? After all, as my foster says, I am an awesome dog!
