Hi everyone, my name is Kare. I'm a 1 year old, female, Golden Retrieve mix. My previous owner thought I was too energetic for their 3 year old and gave me up. Angels picked me up and now I'm in a wonderful foster home. Unfortunately, the previous owners didn't give me preventative and I ended up with heartworms which is very treatable and the Angels are going to make sure I get rid of them. My foster mom says I'm Stage 1 out of 4, which isn't that bad. I will start my treatment in a few weeks and then be spayed. Then I will be completely cured and ready for my forever home.
You can still meet me and pre-adopt me. I'm house and crate trained, and I walk on a leash pretty well (I'm still learning). I also found out that I will be going to school (training) to get a refresher course so I can be the best dog for you. I love to play fetch, run (so a fenced in yard is must), cuddle and give lots of kisses. I get along with other dogs big or small. Cats I find interesting but don't really care about them--so, they are okay. I'm very friendly with all humans big and small. And I love to go on walks, hikes, jogging and just be loved.
If your looking for a great family pet - I'm the one. Ask for Kare. I promise you won't regret your decision.
