Bowen's Story...
This is Bowen, a super friendly cat looking for his loving forever home! Bowen loves nothing more than to follow you around and rub against you for some head pets. He loves to be pet and is a non-stop purr machine. Bowen is a very confident cat and would likely do fine with a cat-savvy dog. Bowen also seems fine around other cats and would likely be okay living with another feline friend. Bowen will sometimes get overstimulated and can be mouthy when this happens, so older children would be best for this guy. If you'd like to meet this handsome fella please be sure to stop by the front desk to fill out an application.

Bowen, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
