Hi, my name is Pooh Bear. I’m a Lucky One! I had a really rough start in life but am I’m, oh, so much healthier and happier now! I want so much to put my short, but very eventful, feral life behind me. I kind of look like a Panda Bear, huh? Pretty eyes, for a boy, and it looks like someone dry brushed me with the white and black. I am a very special little guy that is looking for that special someone to love me.

I am kind of naive, but very lovable, thoughtful, and, oh, so cuddly. My foster Mom tells me that all the time. She loves it when I do my prairie dog imitation so she will pick me up. I love hanging out with my foster parents and my siblings. I can play rough and tumble wrestling with the best of them. I love balls, the little mice, but especially the mesh tunnel, because it’s so much fun to run around and play with my siblings through it! I really like Uncle Indy, the resident cat, too. I will lie on the floor and we will play. When Indy starts to walk away, I will pull myself across the floor (lying down flat on the carpet) to stay next to him, and he will keep playing. I think he thinks I’m a little goofy! It does work, though! I can really make you laugh with all my antics.

I love to play with my foster parents, but I never use my claws because I don’t want to hurt them. Sometimes, I can’t find them in the house and I will cry out to them. They call out to me and I go running to them to make sure they are okay. And most times I will crawl up on a lap, on the desk, or whatever is handy, so I can be near them. In the early evening, I love curling up on my foster Mom’s lap in the living room and I am so content I can’t help but purr really loud! I do have to share her lap with my siblings, but I get my fair share of love, that’s for sure.

At night, my siblings and I all climb on our foster parents' bed for the night. That is heaven on earth, having your humans real close so you can nuzzle them and purr to help them go to sleep. Who could ask for anything more?

I like it here, but I really want my very own forever home and family to love me. Could you love someone like me?

Pooh has a heart of gold and more love to give than you can imagine. Once he is comfortable in a situation, he goes out of his way to get along with all the cats and humans that come his way. One of the four Lucky Ones, Pooh would love to go home with one of his siblings Pearl, Sunshine, or Rocky.

Pooh Bear will come to you vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and neutered. Pooh Bear is fostered in Reno, NV.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
