Lucille's Story...
Hi – My name is Lucille – I am a 4 year old brindle boxer with really cool ears. When my foster mom and dad found me at the local shelter I was so starved they had to carry me because I couldn’t walk but they have taken great care of me and I am ready to find my own home now. For my new home I don’t need to have any cats or donkeys around. I really like to chase them, a lot. Somewhere in my past I have hurt my hip and have a limp but that doesn’t slow me down at all.
I’m really good with other dogs and great with kids but if I am the only dog that would be fine too. I love having lots of attention. I am housetrained and ride good in the car. My foster mom and dad let me sleep with them sometimes and I love to snuggle up to them. One of my favorite parts of the day is to lay in bed with my foster dad and watch the news in the mornings. I do really good in a crate but would prefer to be left out in the house because I do not tear up anything and will just lay around all day. I have been spayed, HW Negative and had all of my shots so I am ready to go to my new home. My foster mom and dad will really miss me but want me to have a great life. If you would like to meet me please Ask for the girl with the cute ears.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucille, a Pulaski Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Pulaski, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Pulaski.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pulaski already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pulaski breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pulaski paves the way for another one to be saved.
