Facts about Sadie

  • Breed: Beagle Mix
  • Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Sadie is a 10yr old spayed female Beagle mix. I first met Sadie at one of our local dog shelters. She was sitting with her back to me with her head hung low. She was so sad and confused about why she was in a shelter. Sadie had a family for 10yrs. Her family decided to get a new puppy. Sadie was fine with the puppy in the beginning but her owners didn't discipline the puppy we it would come and bite her ears of her mouth. Sadie was a very good girl and would just growl but her family thought that was being mean to the puppy so they abandoned her at the animal shelter. Sadie is such a sweet and kind girl. She just wants to be loved on . She is fine with other dogs but we would prefer no puppies . Sadie is a bit overweight and could use some gentle exercise to help her shed a few pounds. She is low energy and would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a cuddle buddy. She will take a nice walk with you and together you can create some wonderful memories. If you are willing to give this girl a wonderful home then please get a hold of us.She is fine with children and other dogs but we would prefer a quiet household. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed. The adoption fee is a donation to right home. . If interested in meeting this cutie, please email or call the foster at 419- 591-6621 . When emailing please include information about you and your family including other pets.

About Heritage Farms

About Our Rescue Group...

We are rescue organization who takes in any unwanted pets. We do not limit ourselves to just dogs .We do all animals except cats We are a 501c3 rescue.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All our babies are home foster unless they require a farm atmosphere, then they are taken to the farm, that has been generously donated to us to use. We will be starting to adoption events soon, so please watch our site for updates on dates and times. Please feel free to email or call us if your looking for something special as we do keep a list of wanted pets and work from that list as we get them in.

Our Adoption Process...

You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. You may be refused the right of adoption if the consensus of the screeners is that adoption to your home would not be in the animal’s best interest. We reserve the right to check on any adopted animal in the future, and as a final measure, will reclaim the animal if improperly treated or housed, or if false statements were made on the adoption application.

We insist that you have your animal checked by a veterinarian within 3 days of adoption. We do what we can when they arrive into rescue but any and all dogs can harbor illnesses that will not show for up to 7-10 days after being exposed to it. This is not something any shelter, dog pound or rescue can control, you will find this in any enviroment you go to that does not know the past history of an animal.

We can not control the personalty of any animal, as we do not have past history on all the animals that come into our rescue organization. We do our best to temperment the animals and will do our best to fit the animal with a forever home that we feel is best for the animal. We will be available after the adoption if you feel you need help in anyway to correct any issues you may run into in the future with your new family member.

If at anytime in the animal’s lifetime the animal is no longer wanted or if you are unable to keep the animal for any reason you must contact Heritage Farms.

Please check each pet, as adoption fees vary due to the fact that we have to pay to pull these animals from shelters/pounds/puppymills to save their lives. The adoption fee is noted with every pet listed.
