Facts about Dino

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
.Dino is a wonderful companion and love bug. He can be very serious – but his true personality is a clown! He’s a big boy so we don’t recommend him in a home with small children as he could easily knock them down. He’s a healthy 89 lbs., has lots of energy, loves to play with toys, but most of all he LOVES to be with people. He should be an only dog as he wants 100% of all the attention and love you have to give.

He is house broken, has wonderful house manners, will go in the crate (but I’ve never had to put him in it as he is truth worthy). Sometimes at night, he puts himself in it and sleeps for a while. He is not a barker and loves people, doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety and he LOVES riding in the car. He has been great around children – don’t think he would do well with cats. He has some basic obedience but I would recommend that if you adopt this boy, you should continue to do training with him. He is very smart and picks up things very easily. He would loves to find his forever home soon so he can get lots of holiday presents!!!

About Golden State German Shepherd Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Saving Dogs through Adoption and Education

Our Mission is to provide education about the German Shepherd Dog, find homes for abandoned German Shepherds, and to build a community within our organization of support and friendship stemming from our mutual love and respect for German Shepherd Dogs.

We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization; we have no paid staff or facility. We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible.

Our volunteers and rescued dogs are located in the San Francisco Bay Area region of Northern California and in parts of the Central Valley of California. We rescue German Shepherd Dogs in areas in which we have volunteers available.
