Puppy Girl's Story...
Whelped: 8/1/04

Temperament: Not cat-friendly. Puppy Girl is a sweet, beautiful girl who loves to be petted and get some attention. She enjoys meals, which she consumes voraciously, as well as car rides and her daily morning walk. She does very well on the leash, only pulling to get out the door. Puppy has learned to relax, and stays on her pillow when someone leaves the room. She is good in the crate. She will play with a stuffed toy on occasion, although she prefers our son's fluffy slippers if we're not vigilant. She is generally a very calm dog and will make a wonderful home companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppy Girl, a Tampa Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
