My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET HANS!!

Hans is a 3 year old male GSD that was saved from the Davidson County Animal Shelter in NC. Found as a stray along with his brother, and scared to death in the shelter environment, we went to assess them and just couldn't walk away even when we learned they were both Heartworm Positive. That's ok, we will do what it takes to get both Hans and brother Franz healthy and ready for a forever home of their own. Thanks to the Miracle GSD Network and their fabulous supporters, we will have the funds to be able to treat them. They have already made their first trip to the vet and been started on antibiotics for their HW treatment as well as for their Kennel Cough.

Hans is the larger and more laid back of the two brothers and weighs in at a skinny 80 lbs right now. He should be about 10-15 lbs heavier even though his pics don't show that right now. He is a leaner and never hesitates to stop for some love. Hans has pretty good leash manners, is housebroken and gets along great with other dogs. He is a big and goofy lover boy that never hesitates to get some love or a snuggle.

Hans is currently in foster with 2 other GSDs and doing well. He will be neutered after his HW treatment completes, is UTD, microchipped, HW - and on flea/tick/HW preventative. Adoption fee is $400,

If you are interested in submitting an application for Hans or any of the other JLGSR dogs, fill out our online application at www.jettslegacy.com/adoption-application.html
