Beatrice's Story...
Beautiful Bea is looking for a family of her own. Bea is an amazing dog whose puppies were adopted out this summer, and now it’s her turn to find a home. Bea is loving, affectionate, and wants nothing more than to be with her people. Like many German Shepherds, Bea bonds quickly with people. She is also highly intelligent and loves to play and learn new tricks. Bea is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots. She is also crate trained, potty trained, and has even benefitted from work with a trainer. As most German Shepherds, Bea has some prey drive. She sometimes herds dogs smaller than her, and she would probably not do well in a home with cats. If interested in adopting Bea, please apply online at ozziespoundpuppies.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beatrice, a Concord German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Concord, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
