Jax's Story...
Jax is a sweet, happy, affectionate 6-7 month old puppy who will be a wonderful addition to any family. I met him on death row at Putnam County Animal Control, where when I went to assess a few other dogs. He was so sad and scared in his kennel, and when I took him out to cat test him he was SOOO happy- he thought I was rescuing him. It was heartbreaking for both of us when I put him back in his kennel afterward.

Thankfully we got a foster offer, and we got him out the very next day. He's so thrilled to be out of the scary shelter, and so relieved to be sleeping in a warm bad as part of a family.

If you want a loyal, fun, companion that will shower you with doggie kisses and greet you with a wiggly butt . . . Jax is the boy for you!

We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover, so you know everything there is to know before finalizing the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
