Bo's Story...
Bo is a handsome medium sized lab mix who is approximately 1 year old, weighing around 45 lbs. You can’t help but smile the second you meet him! He never meets a stranger and greets everyone one with a smile and wagging tail. He gets along well with other dogs and loves playing with the kids (9 yrs and 3 yrs) in his foster home. He rides well in the car and loves to go on walks. He also enjoys going on short runs with his foster mom. He is crate trained and house trained. His foster home has a fenced in yard where he runs and plays but he also loves to take walks in the neighborhood. He deserves a committed and loving family who will give him all of the cuddles he deserves. Bo is heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations, as well as heartworm and flea preventative. He is located in Huntsville, AL, but is available for adoption in your area! Fill out an app for this sweet boy here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. Once received, his foster mom will be in touch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Chattanooga Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
