Moose-ADOPTED!'s Story...
Estimated date of birth: 10/15/15-Moose is German shepherd/Doberman mix and and still very much a goofy puppy! He weighs in at 75 pounds and truly is a Moose for his age. He is being crate trained, potty trained and also leash trained. Moose is doing very well when he is in his crate.
He's very smart and picks up on cues quickly. Moose knows sit, down, ok and is working on stay.
Moose's foster mother is working on loose leash training right now, and he walks well on a martingale and head collar (gentle leader). He's a great runner, and stays right by your side when going for a run.
Moose currently lives with another German shepherd and an Aussie mix, and they play in the yard about 2 hours a day. He is very energetic but is also easy to tire out with dog play, physical and mental exercise. He will need more basic obedience training in his new home.
Moose might be a little too big and clumsy for little children right now, because it seems like he's not very aware of his size.

Moose-ADOPTED!, a Tracy German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher for sale in Tracy, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
