9/3/16 Moses is a large Pit Bull who was found in a church parking lot. We thought someone would come forward to claim him because he was obviously well cared for, but no one did. Moses is a big boy, he weighs about 65-70lbs- he is pure muscle. He is estimated 1 year old. Moses gets along very well with other dogs and loves to play. He is high energy and would need some training to learn to be gentle around young kids. He would never hurt anyone on purpose, but he jumps up and because of his size he could easily hurt a small child without meaning to. He is just trying to get attention and love. He is very trainable and responds well to redirection. Moses is currently located in Arkansas and can be transported out of state once we have a confirmed adopter. About Adopt-A-Stray - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

Adopt-A-Stray was founded in Jan. 2010, by Kelley Prichard. Since then, it has grown to include a few wonderful volunteers who work very hard to help ensure that our pets are place in loving, forever homes. We are based in Alexander, AR, but we list all of our available pets in the northeast. We work with several different transporters to get our babies to their new homes in the northeast once they are adopted. The transporters we use most often are Got Orphans Transport (www.gotransporters.com) and Alpha Dog (www.alphadogtransport.com).All pets are given age appropriate vaccinations before they leave. Every pet is seen by our vet prior to transport. If you see a pet listed that interests you, please be sure to read the description thoroughly and inquire to the email address listed. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
