My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

my is approx 3 yrs old and 20 lbs. She has the most stunning blue eyes. We really are not sure what type of mix she is, but she seems like lhasa apso and possibly poodle. She was so matted when we rescued her we had to shave her down, but her coat is growing in beautifully. Our orthopedic surgeon repaired two torn ACL's and she has healed very well. She is a very quiet and sweet little girl, she likes a laid back lifestyle. She seems to be quite well leash and house trained and is just a really beautiful dog. She is quiet so an older household would fit her well. She is not hypoallergenic.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. .

Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law adds an additional cost of $125.
