Chaz's Story...
Chaz is an adorable 3-4 month old border collie/lab pup who loves to play. Chaz is in a foster home and is a perfect gentleman using the doggie door every time he needs to go out (not one accident). He also does very well in his kennel during the day always keeping it clean. Chaz is in foster with 3 dogs and a cat and loves everyone. He is all puppy and will need plenty of toys to chew on. Chaz is now available for a new home, however he is not at the rescue so please call to make an appointment to meet this sweet boy 208-794-0944.

If you want to apply for Chaz, please visit the rescue and fill out an application. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaz, a Meridian Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
