Hannah is a smart and active dog who will need a very special person in her life to help her reach her full potential. This almost-two-year-old is looking for someone who knows all about the needs of a clever and high-energy dog and is willing and able to keep her busy. We know this girl will be great at agility or other fun activities where she gets to work one-on-one with her favorite person! She loves to get out and about and to go for walks, and would make a great adventure dog for an experienced and attentive handler. Hannah will need a home with no cats or other small critters, and will probably need to be the only dog in the house, since she is still not sure if she wants to have canine friends. But with this firecracker in your life, one dog is all you’ll need! We know that the perfect family for Hannah is out there, and we sure hope they find her soon!

About Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary

About Our Shelter...

The mission of the Kindness Ranch is to provide a sanctuary and place of rehabilitation for animals who have been used in laboratory research.

Staff at Kindness Ranch work to rehabilitate our dogs and cats in a home-like environment. Cats and dogs at the ranch live together with their human caretakers in spacious yurts specially designed to meet their needs. They receive round-the-clock care to help them adjust to their new lives.

The Kindness Ranch also provides foster and adoption programs for all the animals we can rehabilitate. Those who are too debilitated, old or ill to be placed in a loving home can remain on the ranch to live out their days, surrounded by caretakers and volunteers who put the animals’ well-being first.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Potential adopters are welcome to visit Kindness Ranch and meet the animals by appointment. Some animals are also able to visited in or near their foster homes. We sometimes hold adoption events in Cheyenne, WY and Casper, WY.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application to be filled out and may request a home visit if deemed necessary. Potential adopters are counseled on the special needs that many lab animals have and will work with a staff member to find a good match for their home. The adoption fee is $50 for cats and $150 for dogs. All adopters sign an adoption contract, as well, and are encouraged to keep in touch with pictures and stories!
