GATOR's Story...
Gator is a 4-month-old hound mix. He is very laid back unless he's got another dog to play with and suddenly he's all smiles and energy! He's good with other dogs and cats and great with kids! The adoption fee is $350. If you'd like more information on this dog, please contact us today!

* It is our goal to ensure that all our animals are a good fit for their new family. Because of this, it is Paws Up 4 Rescue's policy to do home visits before an adoption. Because puppies must be able to return to our vet for additional vetting after the adoption is finalized we do not adopt out of state. No exceptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GATOR, a joliet Labrador Retriever/Mastiff puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff for sale in joliet, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff puppy from a breeder in joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mastiff breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
