found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
If you love Cane Corsos or large dogs in general, you will definitely fall for ROCKY! He is a super friendly guy who has never met a dog or human he doesn't like. His foster family includes 2 human children and 3 other dogs. He is wonderful with everyone. He is the largest dog in the home, but he isn't the boss and is totally ok with that. If another dog wants to play, ROCKY is always ready and willing to join the fun. He will also take correction and leave another pup alone if that pup isn't in the mood for horsing around. He does a great job entertaining himself with his toys.
As much as ROCKY enjoys playtime, he loves human cuddle time as much or more. He will curl up with you in the bed or on the couch and snuggle for hours on end. He is a giant lap dog. His sweet eyes and endless affection can make even your worst day happy.
ROCKY loves riding in the car and we think he would be a terrific jogging or hiking buddy. He does well in his crate while his foster family is at work, but sure is over the moon when they get home. This boy is definitely happiest with companionship from either a human or another doggie friend. ROCKY has spent time with toy breeds, large breeds, and everything in between. He attended dog daycare a few days and got an A+ report card. He is the perfect age of 1 year old: past the annoying baby puppy behaviors, but full of puppy curiosity and joy for life. ROCKY is sure to bless his forever family with a lifetime of loyalty and adoration.
ROCKY is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the New England area.
An adoption application for ROCKY can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to firstname.lastname@example.org. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed.
All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
