Kristen's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Kristen's Story...
Kristen is a beautiful 15 month old, 35 pound, border collie/spaniel mix. She has the softest, shiniest coat.
She is sweet, affectionate, loves people and is good with children.
She is good with cats, and gets along with other dogs, but doesn't really like or play with them, so wouldn't do well with a dog that wants to play with her all the time.
She is housetrained, crate trained, and has good manners.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kristen, a Waterbury Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
