Jim Hopper's Story...
Say hello to Police Chief Jim Hopper, 10-4?

Chief Jim is a 30-pound, 1.5-year-old Shepherd/Basset mix (who also has a little lowrider mixed in, which makes him very cute). As any good police chief would, he knows how to follow the rules — he’s already housebroken and crate-trained. And, he knows how to sit on command. His foster mom has a boat, so Jim has donned a life jacket and been out on the lake a few times. He’s learning to enjoy it. He also does the cutest army crawl when he plays. Jim is great with other dogs and good with cats as well. Police chief Jim Hopper has seen enough Stranger Things to last a lifetime. Now he just wants a Good Thing — a forever home!

Chief Jim Hopper is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Email seespotrescued@gmail.com for an adoption application or download it here: http://bit.ly/SSR-APP-MAY2014. DOGS SEEN VIA APPT ONLY! Please check out and LIKE us on www.facebook.com/seespotrescued. You will see more pictures of this dog and all our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jim Hopper, a Jersey City Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
