Sebastian's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sebastian's Story...
Sebastian came to our shelter from a local animal control. He was surrendered to the pound because his previous owners had a baby. They abandoned poor Sebby- their kitty of 12 years. Sebastian is very sad here and missing the comforts of a family. He gets along with other cats, but must be in a home without dogs. We are recommending a home with older children or adults.

Sebastian was diagnosed with a heart murmur by our vet. He recently (8/24/16) had blood work and an ultrasound of his heart- both revealing good news that Sebastian's murmur is likely due to his age. There is no evidence of hyperthyroidism, diabetes, kidney disease, etc. He has a clean bill of health and is ready to spend his golden years in a loving home!

Sebastian is neutered, vaccinated, feline leukemia/AIDS negative, and is current on flea/tick preventative. He is also microchipped. To meet him, visit our website and complete an adoption application. Adoption donation $125

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a North Haven Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Haven, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
