Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Porsche, female, gray and white DSH
Born June 18, 2016
Special Adoption fee $75
Should NOT be an only kitten
Porsche and her siblings came into rescue because their Momma Cat was abandoned and became pregnant in a feral cat colony in Sacramento. Momma Cat, being the resourceful girl that she is, and knowing she wasn't safe outside, begged her way past the front door of a nearby apartment and promptly had kittens on the couch. It was too much for the kind, young man who had opened his door to a frightened stray. He contacted me through a mutual friend, and Momma and 6 babies came into rescue on Father's Day. With some help from her foster mom, Momma Cat raised her 6 babies, plus 3 more that came into rescue 10 days later. (Momma Cat has since been spayed and is happily back with the man who let her in the front door!)
Lovely Porsche is an active kitten who loves to run fast. She doesn't mind being held but doesn't often seek out a lap, ‘cause she is too busy! She loves to play with her siblings as well as the adult cats in the household. Porsche plays hard but then can be found sleeping in the middle of the floor, all played out.
Born on June 18th, Porsche will be ready for her forever home by mid- to late-September. She is Leukemia Virus negative and socialized with adult cats and a Labrador. Porsche will do best if she is adopted with one of her more outgoing siblings.
If you are looking for two, Porsche would be happy with any of her siblings or foster siblings!
If you would like more information, please contact foster mom, April, at aprilfieldsrvt@gmail.com or send in an Adoption Application with your chosen kitten’s name.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
