Cobbler's Story...
This beautiful blue/cream torti is Cobbler, a sweet and mellow girl that is about 3 1/2 years old now and would love a fabulous home of her own. Cobbler originally came to us as a stray in November 2015. She got adopted, but was returned because "she was playing and knocked something off the counter". Cobbler hasn't let that ridiculous incident get her down at all and she's still just as sweet and lovable as ever. She spends her days relaxing and socializing with the other cats in our free roaming area and she gets along just fine with them. She just loves people and there's really nothing shy about Cobbler. She's always ready to make a new friend and is quite the affectionate mush when she gets to know you. Cobbler would transition so easily into a great home with a family that will love and care for her forever. File#25785 11/23/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cobbler, a Forked River Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
