DONEGAL IN AZ's Story...

Introducing Donegal, a big guy at 30 pounds with a big personality and heart to match! He's a very friendly boy and can be enthusiastic about greeting people. Donegal is looking for an active family who will occupy him with lots of walks and play time, and he would do well with kids and other dogs. He also loves keeping himself busy with constructive activities, antlers, and chew toys that hold treats. He's smart too! He's crate and potty trained, knows sit and down, and is learning to stay and walk well on a leash. As rowdy as Donegal is, he also knows how to chill and is so sweet. He likes to lay right by his person and will keep your feet warm on a chilly day. If you're looking for an active boy to keep up with your active family, then look no further than Donegal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DONEGAL IN AZ, a Fort Worth American Staffordshire Terrier/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Maltese for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Maltese dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Maltese breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
