Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue
Introducing Donegal, a big guy at 30 pounds with a big personality and heart to match! He's a very friendly boy and can be enthusiastic about greeting people. Donegal is looking for an active family who will occupy him with lots of walks and play time, and he would do well with kids and other dogs. He also loves keeping himself busy with constructive activities, antlers, and chew toys that hold treats. He's smart too! He's crate and potty trained, knows sit and down, and is learning to stay and walk well on a leash. As rowdy as Donegal is, he also knows how to chill and is so sweet. He likes to lay right by his person and will keep your feet warm on a chilly day. If you're looking for an active boy to keep up with your active family, then look no further than Donegal!

**** FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! ****
YOU can make a huge difference by fostering just one dog. ONE dog, ONE time a year = ONE life that could be saved! Each and everyday we have the opportunity to save more Cairns in need, but we can't do it if we don't have the Foster Homes to place them in. Would you like to learn more on how you can help?
'Saving just one dog won't change the world, but it surely will change the world for that one dog.'

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
