My name is DASHWOOD IN ID!

Cairn Terrier Dog for adoption in Portland, Oregon - DASHWOOD IN ID

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Dashwood is 9 years young. He is lovely dog who will meet you at the door with his bubbly personality overflowing. Dashwood came to CPCRN after both his former owners passed away. There is no doubt that he was thoroughly loved as he has so much love to give. He is well behaved and patient at meal times, and won't hesitate to join you on the couch for snuggles. He is in great shape and smart-looking, with the shiniest set of teeth you've ever seen. His shots are all up to date, and he is heart-worm negative. He loves walks and will join you on as many as you can take. He even ' helps' with his harness when you get it out. The only thing that is challenging for him is going into the crate, even if given a treat. He would love to sleep near his person every night, so he can greet you when you wake up. He will make an amazing friend and companion, bringing light and love into your family and home. Better apply NOW!

DASHWOOD is being fostered in MERIDIAN, IDAHO in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DASHWOOD IN ID, a Portland Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
