Bonnie is a very sweet natured little girl, approximately 3+ years old, who wants nothing more than to be loved. She’s a medium-size, at approximately 30-35 lbs. As with many rescues, Bonnie’s past is unknown, but we know it didn’t include much human love. She will need to go to a family with dog experience. She does have a fear of men, but will run away from men, and will need work to get past it. Her foster dad works with her daily, and she has shown great improvement. She also can be, on occasion, very skittish, and head shy. Her foster parents say Bonnie has become such a funny, loving, and spunky little beauty. She is very intelligent, gets along great with their pack of five dogs, and even though she’s not played with the neighbor kids, she gets happy and excited when she hears them. She is housebroken, crate trained, not a barker, and can easily be won over with patience, pieces of hot dogs (her favorite for training purposes!), belly rubs, back scratches, and kisses on her nose! It will take time, patience and love with this gorgeous little girl to have her as part of your family, but the rewards will be priceless.
