Libby's Story...
Libby [formerly Cubby] and her sidekick Guinness came to us when their Dad found himself in a tough situation. There's nothing more heart wrenching that to watch someone so down on their luck have to then surrender their furry companions. Time was not going to help their situation, at least in the short term.

Libby is an 8 year old 50lbs shepard mix that likes attention and apples so be sure to share. She has a high desire to please and knows some basic commands such as sit, stay, dance and shake. Libby's favorite thing to do is run and play and was raised with children.

We'd love to try to keep these two together if possible as Libby is attached to Guinness, but if not we would love them to go to homes with other dogs.

Let us know if you have room in your heart and home for Libby and Guinness.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby, a Scottsdale German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
