Mac's Story...
Mac (short for Macavity - named after a character in the musical CATS) is a 3 month old white and gray tabby kitten with a gentle sweet calmness about him that is very appealing. He loves to be held and gaze into people's eyes. Mac is a typical kitten. He loves to play with his littermates, enjoys cuddles, and dinner time is a favorite activity. Napping in the sun or a warm bed is also top-rated for this little guy. Mac is almost twice the size of his sisters, so we suspect he will be a large kitty. He has been neutered, is up to date on shots, been microchipped and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. An application, safety homecheck, landlord approval if renting and adoption fee of $80 is required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and proof of disability. contact or 707-441-9502. You can't go wrong with this kitten if you are looking for a lifetime loving pet companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mac, a Eureka Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eureka, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Eureka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eureka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eureka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eureka paves the way for another one to be saved.
