Ella- adoption pending's Story...
Ella is a super fun young lady. She is around 1 year old and we think she is a pointer/boxer mix. Ella weighs just under 40 lbs. She is a high energy girl who will need a fenced yard to run around in. She would LOVE another playful dog to play with. She is also cat friendly. If there are cats in her forever home and no dogs she may annoy the cats trying to play. Ella adores people and is very much a velcro dog. She always wants to be by your side. Ella still needs some work learning her manners, like not to pull on leash or potty in the house. She is still a young dog and will likely be a quick learner for someone willing to work with her. She is a little bit scared of riding in the car but does well once you get her in there and settled. Ella is a very good girl looking for an active new family to call her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella- adoption pending, a Manhattan Pointer/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Boxer for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Pointer/Boxer dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Boxer breeders who help with Pointer/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
