My name is Heidi and I am a black/brindle Lab mix girl, about 2-3 years old and weigh 45 pounds; just the perfect size for most any family or person. I was found wandering around, skinny and not in great condition. My feet were swollen and I had recently had puppies but no one knew where they were. I looked so bad that most anyone would have just put me to sleep, but my foster mom decided to make me her project. She took excellent care of me and now I am a nice big girl, still a bit skinny, but so much better. The vet estimates my age between 2-4 years. I am thankful for every little bit of love I get and I will give lots of love back to anybody who cares for me. Right now, I am in a large, outside kennel and I run twice a day on a farm. I get very excited when we go and I love to run, but when I am put back in the kennel, I don’t make a fuss. I am gentle and loving and my foster mom thinks, with my great personality, I will make an excellent companion. I am housetrained; I have never pooped in my kennel, I am nice with people and other dogs. Now I am looking for a forever home. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.
