My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Josie! She's a friendly 3 year old Lab/Hound mix that had a litter of pups while in foster care. She has been in a loving foster home with her daughter Kit Kat getting pampered and ready for adoption. Josie lived as a tie-out dog. She was rescued from that situation and is hoping her next home will be much better. She likes kids and other dogs but has not been around cats. She was a well behaved girl while in foster care and doing great with her house training. Josie is now at Friendship ready and waiting with Kit Kat for their forever homes. They are both featured in the second photo. Kit Kat has been adopted.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
