Sheba is a gentle giant whose only ambition is to become some person's cuddlebug. This sweet, hugely affectionate girl wants to be in her human friend's lap, snuggling and giving gentle kisses all day if possible.
But since all day isn't really feasible, Sheba is also happy to play gently, quietly and calmly with squeaky toys. And then she's up for a walk, starting by pulling to explore her surroundings, but then settling in for a good leisurely-paced stroll.
Sheba can be shy and reserved when first meeting new humans, but she quickly blossoms into her human-adoring self. She hasn't been observed much with other dogs or cats yet, but when she's encountered them on walks, she's showed some curiosity and otherwise has paid little attention. Because of her size, she may do best with older kids who can be relaxed and mellow with her.
On sleepovers, Sheba has been very well behaved in the car and in the home, with no destructive habits, and she seems house trained.
Sheba is a calm, mellow, loving girl who will be a wonderful addition to any home - one with a family to cuddle with or a single adopter in an apartment. She may do well with other dogs and cats, given a meet-and-greet to be introduced. Come meet this girl, take her for a walk and we think you'll take her right into your heart!
