Cuddles (Spayed & Declawed)'s Story...
"Cuddles" is a beautiful 9-year old female Dilute Calico kitty who was surrendered by her owner on September 1, 2016 along with "Ginger" (a cute tan/white Chihuahua) who shared her previous home. "Cuddles" has a gray/beige/white short smooth coat in a dilute calico pattern, a long tail, and an adorable chubby-looking face with large green/gold eyes and one beige 'eyebrow'. "Cuddles" is adjusting to her new home in a large cat tower in our shelter, but what she would really love is another home to call her very own. Her previous owner told us that "Cuddles" was good with children, other cats, and dogs. She is a full-figured kitty who currently weighs 14.4 lbs. "Cuddles" was given vaccinations and wormer on September 1, 2016. She has already been spayed. She is also front paw declawed, so she would be required to be an exclusive indoor-only kitty. Her owner indicated that "Cuddles" had been combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cuddles (Spayed & Declawed), a Marietta Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
