Baby (Spayed)'s Story...
"Baby" is a cute 2-year old female Chihuahua mix who was surrendered by her owner on September 2, 2016 along with her companion (Pippy) with whom she shared her previous home. "Baby" has a chocolate brown/caramel/white short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with beautiful brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, and large 'horizontal' ears. "Baby" cannot understand why she is in a small cage and was not quite ready to venture outdoors for her glamour photos the day she arrived.. We opted to take preliminary pictures in her cage and post them so that potential adopters would know that she is in our shelter and needs a loving home. We will take more flattering photos asap. "Baby" is good with children and other dogs. Her previous owner did not know how she would do around cats. "Baby" has been kept indoors and is housebroken. She is a petite little girl who weighs 8.4 lbs. "Baby" was spayed on September 9, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby (Spayed), a Marietta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
