Reese's Story...
"Reese" is a handsome 10-month old male Husky/Labrador Retriever mix who came to the HSOV on September 1, 2016 after he was found in Waterford, Ohio. This good-looking young man has a black-and-brown short smooth coat, a long tail with a bit of curl, and a beautiful face with tan eyebrows and floppy ears. "Reese" has one blue eye (left) and one brown eye.(right) which gives him a very unique appearance. He has a playful, outgoing personality and is merely an overgrown puppy who is full of youthful energy. "Reese" weighs 74 lbs. and is still a growing boy. It appears that he might be housebroken. He is strong on the other end of a leash and enthusiastic about being outdoors for playtime and walks. "Reese" is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reese, a Marietta Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
