My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you know the various health benefits of Coconuts?
Our little gal Coconut wants you to know that she can fill your heart with love, make you laugh daily, get you out and about as your personal trainer, and of course provide you with unconditional love. All she asks in return is for you to love her as much as she will love you. Coconut may be just what the doctor ordered for you and your family!

Coconut is just about a year old and is crate trained, playful, intelligent and fun loving with both dogs and kids. She enjoys a nice stroll around the city with her 4 legged foster brother, working on mastering the basics of sit, down, off, etc. Her ultimate favorite thing is a solid cuddle sesh on the couch. She would love to go to formal training with her new family and learn even more. What’s so amazing about adopting Coconut is that she is a part Safe Humane Chicago Court Case Dogs, was evaluated by a certified dog trainer and comes with a lifetime of free training/behavior support from both us and Safe Humane.

Coconut is currently fostered in a high rise in Chicago so elevator buildings are no biggie for her.

You will go nuts with love over Coconut!

Please contact Coconut’s friends at info@savethepitbull.org to learn more about her and how to go about adopting her.

*Due to the location of our volunteers, foster homes and training resources, all potential adopters need to be within 2 hours of Chicago or Peoria, IL.

Fostered in Chicago.
