Willie's Story...
**Willie is at the Adopt-A-Pet Shop in Plymouth, MN- stop by and say hello!**

DOB: ~ 4/15/16
Breed/Color: DSH/Black & White
Sex: Male
Silly Willie, need I say more! This adorable little guy is full of energy and curiosity. One should not be fooled by his small stature as his personality is as big as it gets! Willie loves to run fast, jump up on, over, or around anything that might be in his way. His kitten action moves should qualify him for a lead role in an upcoming blockbuster movie! He is not interested in being snuggled or held right now, but loves to be petted. He will need a family with some patience that can work with him on sharing his affection. While seemingly not into his humans right now, he loves playing with his littermates. One of the resident cats is also allowed into his antics as he enjoys chasing her sideways and then sprinting off making a quick escape. Willie is an expert with the litterbox and makes sure everything is covered up nicely.

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Willie's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willie, a Plymouth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plymouth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
