What is it about orange tabby kittens that makes you just fall in love with them?! Butterscotch is just a doll! He has a huge carefree personality yet he is super affectionate. He is great with kids and loves to play with his littermates, and one of the resident cats. I’m not sure what he thinks about the dog but he seems to like hanging out with her from time to time! Snuggles and kisses are a must for Butterscotch, but get them in quickly as he thinks he might miss some of the action if he’s away for too long. Butterscotch is an expert with the litterbox and makes sure everything is covered up nicely.

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Butterscotch's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butterscotch, a Plymouth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plymouth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
